Summerworth Down is a small
private training and boarding
facility nestled in a quiet scenic
setting at the foot of Chandler
Mountain. We offer the best of
training, lessons, coaching,
select boarding, sales,
retirement, and overnight
stabling. We design a personal
program for each horse and
rider. Large grassy pastures, an
all weather dressage arena,
stadium jumps, room to gallop,
and a selection of cross country
jumps all add to the picture.
Owners bring 30 years of
experience in training,
competing, teaching, and
working in all facets of
horsemanship. Summerworth
Down is conveniently located 50
miles Northeast of Birmingham
and 34 miles Northeast of
Trussville, AL just off of I-59.
Summerworth Down can now
offer lessons in the Florida
Panhandle (Pensacola) area.
